Summer Art Trail is a journey between places around Leicester. Exhibitions and events will be held for us to stroll between, experiencing some of the best art locally and nationally.
Silver Vine Arts is an artist led collective who run the annual festival Summer Art Trail, which is pleased to announce this year is part of City Festival 2015.
From 22nd August till 30th August this event gives practicing artists the opportunity to exhibit as part of: Leicester's Cultural Quarter at LCB Depot, in the atmospheric top floor rooms at The Queen of Bradgate and to exhibit at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery. Silver Vine Arts & Summer Art Trail 2015 is kindly supported by Soft Touch Arts & Leicester City Council
Also part of Summer Art Trail are: Attenborough Arts (formally Embrace Arts), Two Queens Gallery, Graff HQ, Soft Touch Arts, Leicester Print Workshop, New Walk Museums, Unit 1 at The Great Central Gallery, Leicester LO-Fi Photography, Crafty Sew & So, Feel More Love Boutique, Seed Creativity, My Workshop, The Western and The Cube Gallery at Phoenix Cinema.
The festival highlights all creative organisations in Leicester, whilst supporting the local community, small independent businesses and showcasing local and national artists.
SVA continue to set up galleries in unexpected areas, host internships and placements throughout the year and help support local talent.
